Once a contender for the site of Wisconsin’s Capitol, Cassville has a diverse commercial history that included a sawmill, brick yard, brewery, blacksmith shops, harness shops, a button factor, canning company, and many other diverse enterprises. You can get a sense of what life would have been like here in the 1800’s by visiting the Stonefield village.

For a glimpse of what life in Wisconsin was like more than 100 years ago, a visit to the Stonefield Historic Site is a must! The extensive campus includes a village, farmstead, State Agricultural Museum, and home site of Wisconsin’s first Governor.
Stonefield is open from June 1 through September 29. Guided tours are available for the farmstead and Dewey home site. Check their website for special events, including Safe N' Spooky Halloween!
Be sure to stop at the gift shop where you’ll find unique books, home goods, apparel and more.

CASSVILLE FARMALL MUSEUM
The Cassville Farmall Museum features a nearly complete collection of the Farmall letter series tractors in all phases of restoration. There are also antique implements as well as horse drawn equipment.
Open to the public for a stroll down memory lane. Located at 210 Amelia Street.
